Am I doing this right? is a photographic series of temporary assemblages, combining my own body and objects both made and found. Developing out of performance documentation, these images do not behave as self-portrait or landscape photography, but rather as a means of framing an assemblage in which the body acts as a found object. In this series each piece is hung at the height of the body part it represents, creating a body in fragments, repeating actions and phrases differently across the wall. They are propositions for ways in which ideas of the outdoors might be evoked, challenged and constructed using a single protagonist, subjective narrative.
